EMC Data Collection Techniques. Report No. 1. Test Method CE.

Abstract

The purposes of the study was to determine the basis for setting the limits for interference specifications, an examination of the relationship between actual and measured interference levels and to recommend changes in current practices where necessary. In this report major emphasis is on conducted emissions aspects of the specifications. Measurements were made on radio receivers and transmitters, a digital computer and a radar. The results of the measurements are given in detail, together with an analysis of troubles incurred. A theoretical model for conducted emissions of equipment powered by a single-phase supply system was developed. (Author)
