LSI Correlator.

Abstract

Techniques for reducing transistor storage time were examined to identify the approach(es) most amenable to correlator fabrication. The Schottky barrier diode clamp, the Baker clamp, and current-mode logic were found to be the best choices. Device and circuit studies were performed on these three correlator types. Experiments were performed on the fabrication of Schottky diodes. A 738-device LSI test pattern was fabricated with a high yield. (Author)
