The Cancer Resistance of the Guinea Pig (La Canceroresistance du Cobaye)

Abstract

The author studying the spontaneous tumors of the guinea pig as well as the experimental attempts to induce cancers concluded that this animal is resistant to cancer. The fact is more significant when one considers that this animal, although it belongs to the rodent class, reacts differently from the hamster, the mouse, and the rat.
