Miniature Cryogenic Refrigerators.

Abstract

The report presents a review of the state of the art of miniature cryogenic refrigerators. The primary object of the study was to obtain and report on first hand information on the performance of these refrigerators. Only refrigerators providing temperatures below 80K were investigated. Performance data are presented in tables and graphs. No attempt was made to evaluate the thermodynamic or mechanical aspects of the refrigerator nor the application of specific units to particular research, industrial, or military tasks.
