Test-Frame Study of Light and Camera Positions for the Deep-Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV),
Abstract
Light and camera positions on the Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicle (DSRV) were evaluated during tests performed with a DSRV test frame at San Clemente Island, California. The evaluation consisted of submerging the test frame, a full-scale wooden mockup of the lower half of the DSRV, and recording image quality for a variety of lighting conditions, target distances, and camera positions. The report presents an analysis of all data recorded during the tests. (Author)
