Testing the Wear Resistance of Plastics Having Crystalline Structures,

Abstract

The paper gives the comparative data on wear resistance tests on plastic surfaces made either by injection molding or by surfacing. For sliding bearings it is possible to select both the production technology and the optimal material. Diagrams and microphotographs of various test specimens, as well as summary charts are suggested as aids for both designers and users.
