Military Occupational Information Data Bank. Volume III: Reduction of Field-Collected Data Segment Program Documentation.

Abstract

The Reduction of Field Collected Data segment of the MOIDB System has the primary function of reducing the data that appear on the field data collection questionnaire to a format that can be computer processed and then stored on tape file so that it is accessible for information retrieval. The resultant information reflects the task performances, equipment utilization, knowledges, and special requirements that are actually experienced by Army personnel in the various MOS. This information is also associated with organizational and biographical data and permits the extraction of specific information in association with a defined set of parameters. The volume contains the program documentation for the Reduction of Field Collected Data Segment. (Author)
