Stress-Corrosion Investigation of Candidate Braze Alloys.

Abstract

The objectives of the program were: (1) To define compatibility of tubing connector braze alloys with respect to: (a) the tubing system and propellant; (b) the tubing system and atmosphere; and (c) the tubing system and the component materials in the tubing system. (2) To determine the compatibility (stress and/or chemical corrosion) in the presence of propellants of the candidate braze alloys and tubing system materials. (Author)
