Microcircuit Crystal Oscillator.

Abstract

The purpose of the work was to produce and assemble a series of microcircuit crystal oscillators in the 7 MHz to 20 MHz frequency range, over a twenty-four month period, packaged in a multiple lead TO-5 enclosure. The basic circuit employed is a Colpitts type utilizing a thin film R-C (resistance-capacitance) network, a 2N2222 transistor chip, and a suitable quartz resonator.
