Converter Compendium. Revised.
Abstract
This report is a compendium based on in-house and commercial literature on the following types of converters: shaft-to-digital (contact and noncontact), analog-to-digital (excluding digital voltmeters), digital-to-analog, synchro-to-digital, digital-to-synchro, and voice-to-digital. Major functional, electrical, and physical characteristics of the converters are described. The data have been assembled and handled by machine methods in a format that permits additions, corrections, and deletions to be made with a minimum of effort. Programs for selective retrieval are planned using combinations of characteristics provided from the data base now maintained on magnetic tape. (Author)
