A Research Program on Solid Propellant Physical Behavior.

Abstract

This report presents the results obtained during the past year in a research program on Solid Propellant Physical Behavior. The object of the research program is to contribute to our understanding of the Physical behavior of solid propellants through a comprehensive study of filled elastomeric systems. The report is presented in thirteen independent parts which may be grouped conveniently as follows: Parts I - VII deal with theoretical and experimental investigations of the physical properties of filled systems and binders, Parts VIII - XI report on further progress on the Standardized Rubber Program, Parts XII - XIII are concerned with studies on block copolymers as model substances for the behavior of propellants and propellant binders. Each part has its own table of contents, list of illustrations and tables, references, and figures and tables. (Author)
