Evaluation of a Platform Vertical Single-Component Thrust Stand

Abstract

This report describes the calibration of a platform vertical 6- component Rocketdyne Rocket Motor Thrust Stand located on Pad 2, Air Force Rocket Propulsion Laboratory, Solid Test Area (1-32). Six-component thrust mmeasurement is possible, but presently the stand is used to measure only the axial component of thrust.
