Determination of Electron Density Distributions From VLF/LF Reflection Data.

Abstract

The report describes a method of determining electron density distributions from vlf/lf reflection data by combining a full-wave solution with function minimization. Results include electron density profiles found from data taken during a solar flare. The method, which also includes an error analysis, requires that the electron density distribution be represented in parametric form. (Author)
