Non-Acoustic Audio Coupling to the Head (NAACH).

Abstract

A program was established to investigate the usefulness of non-acoustic audio coupling to the head (NAACH) principles to Naval airborne communications and to develop circuits and components with which to conduct tests in the laboratory. Circuits and electrodes were developed and tested for use in a high noise environment, for underwater communications, as aid for the deaf and for high fidelity audio reproduction. Circuits to permit use of NAACH electrodes as microphones are planned for development. (Author)
