Influence of Membrane Transport Characteristics on Electrolyte Concentration and Consequent Plate Performance.

Abstract

Charge and discharge characteristics of silver, cadmium, and zinc plates have been investigated in KOH as a function of temperature, current density, and electrolyte concentration. The results were correlated with previous measurements of electrolyte transport in order to determine the effect of design and operational performance on battery characteristics. (Author)
