Display Evaluation Programming.

Abstract

The document discusses the methodology used to provide a system driver used to present visual displays on a number of display devices. The system is intended to be easily adaptable to the requirement of new displays and thereby reduce the time lag, which is normally required in the evaluation of a new display system. The software package was implemented on a computer, with magnetic disk as the bulk storage medium. The system is modular, requiring only the addition of I/0 drivers to accommodate new display devices.
