Microwave Acoustic and Bulk Device Technique Studies.

Abstract

The objectives of the contract are: to advance new theory and techniques of microwave acoustic, magnetoelastic and bulk semiconductor devices for application to radar, communications, and instrumentation systems. This investigation presently includes the following projects: Thin films for bulk and surface waves; Acoustic parametric amplification; Time-variant microwave signal processing in distributed system; Guided acoustic waves; Magnetically dependent sound wave interactions in semiconductors; Bulk acoustic wave amplifiers; and Waves in indium antimonide.
