Microwave Integrated-Circuit Noise Source.

Abstract

The report covers the last six months of development activity on a microwave integrated-circuit noise source. The work has involved the redesign, fabrication, and testing of a noise source, which includes a temperature-compensated-current source driver for the noise diode, and a microwave circuit on which to mount the diode. For simplification, the derivation of formulas and measurement procedures are repeated in the report along with the test results and redesign efforts during the reporting period. (Author)
