Seasonal Oceanographic Studies in McMurdo Sound, Antarctica.

Abstract

The report contains a series of oceanographic stations taken at an icehole 3 miles offshore in McMurdo Sound, Antarctica during the austral winter of 1960-1961. Data on temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, current, and bottom sediment are presented along with notes on marine life. Appendix A contains a tabulation of oceanographic data for 28 stations and Appendix B, the analysis of 14 bottom sediment samples. (Author)
