Design and Development of Impact Instrumentation Package.

Abstract

This report relates the results of the applied research and development of an Impact Instrumentation Package. The program has culminated in the fabrication of three (3) Impact Instrumentation Packages intended to measure and record the deceleration forces experienced by bomb fuzes during the impact of projectiles in terrain primarily comprised of dirt. It is designed to be a reusable instrumentation package capable of surviving the deceleration and shock levels which occur during bomb impact. (Author)
