Air Blast Calculations Event Mine Under.

Abstract

The phenomenology of the air blast from a 100-ton sphere of TNT detonated 1 charge diameter above the ground was calculated theoretically. The calculation started with an analytic solution to a detonation wave in TNT in a stable model of standard atmosphere at an altitude of 1.8 km. A reflecting plane represented the ground at this altitude. The calculation was from detonation to 1 second. Comparisons are made with experimental data. (Author)
