A Contribution to the Dynamic Testing of Compasses,

Abstract

Dynamic tests for the evaluation of magnetic compasses (vibration test and swing test) were critically evaluated and recommendations for changes and extensions were submitted. These recommendations are encompassed in 6 equations. (Author)
