Polymers at Mainz, Heidelberg and Freiburg,
Abstract
Two large groups of investigators, one in the Institute for Physical Chemistry of the University of Mainz, one in the Institute for Macromolecular Chemistry of the University of Freiburg, are carrying out extensive programs of research on polymers. A recently arrived professor in the Institute for Physical Chemistry of the University of Heidelberg is getting started again on the polymer research that he had been conducting in Munich. These programs, both physical and chemical in nature, are summarized. (Author)
