Dr. Alick Elithorn's Medical Research Council Program at the Royal Free Hospital Medical School,

Abstract

The past, recent and current studies (1954-69) by Dr. Alick Elithorn of the Royal Free Hospital Medical School are reviewed. These include neurological, psychological and psychiatric investigations of behavior, both clinical and experimental, in the laboratory, clinic and hospital, with children and adults. The contributions to the understanding of behavior have been made by development of psychological tests, paper-and-pencil and electronically administered and recorded, and appreciation of experimental studies as methodology basic to clinical neurology and psychiatry, as well as psychology.
