Sensitivity Studies of Acoustic Arrays.

Abstract

The report considers motion due to deformations in underwater structures. The object of the work is to determine the effect of these deformations on the performance of a multiplicity of sensors mounted on the structure. The results show that, for gently varying deflection curves, the expected loss of gain is less sensitive to structural deformations than was perhaps anticipated. (Author)
