A Calorimeter for Measuring Laser Output Energy,

Abstract

A new calorimeter design for measuring the output energy of pulse lasers and the output power of CW lasers is described which traces the intensity reduction of the irradiation of the walls of an absorption body and the shortening of the time for equalizing the temperature in the body, and which prevents the sensor temperature from overshooting the stabilized temperature of the body.
