Arc-Discharge Lamps With Metallic Vapors as Intensive Infrared Radiation Sources,

Abstract

The article discusses the properties, characteristics, and structures of arc-discharge tubes with metal vapors serving as intensive sources of infrared radiation. A survey is made of tubes produced in the leading industrial countries, including the Soviet Union. Specifications of high-pressure mercury arc-discharge tubes produced in Poland are given. (Author)
