MALLARD Communications Traffic Requirements (US) (TD-32).
Abstract
The report reflects the following areas of activity: the updating of the Generic Data Base (Annex A of the report represents the new data base); the development of Filter A and Filter B to improve the accuracy of specific deployment needlines; the revision and augmentation of the Expanded Data Base Formats; the revision of the nodal and link configuration and connectivity of the Two Corps Field Army to accommodate Air Force activities; the revision of statistical tables and distributions to reflect the new data base and revised deployment configuration; and the updating of the subjective analysis initiated during the preceding report period. The report represents a summation of action required to start the second trunk sizing computer simulation series of the three deployments: a Two Corps Field Army with associated Air Forces, an Independent Corps, and a Marine Corps Expeditionary Force.
