Numerical Study of the Coanda Effect.

Abstract

A numerical solution for the flow in a two-dimensional bistable fluid amplifier is obtained. A minimum Reynolds number is found below which attachment will not occur. The study shows the quality of attachment and attachment point varying with Reynolds number. (Author)
