EMC Data Collection Techniques Test Method RE.

Abstract

An evaluation of the present specifications for radiated emissions in MIL-STD-461A and 462 is reported. In several important cases new limits are proposed which are arrived at by considering the following: (a) Natural noise as exemplified by atmospherics, and cosmic noise; (b) sensitivities currently attainable for receiving devices, and (c) the state of the art. Generally, the new limits are easier to meet than former limits. (Author)
