Initial Production Test of Modified Crane (Second Retest), Wheel-Mounted, 5-Ton, DED, 4X4, Rough Terrain: Model H-446.

Abstract

The test purposes were to determine if the modified crane met requirements of paragraph 4.6.2 of the military specification and to conduct a limited vehicle maintenance package evaluation. The testing sequence was arranged to conduct tests related to the drive-train first since drive-train problems had been reported at Fort Knox on other test cranes.
