Development of a Cellular Absorbed Dose Spectrometer (CADS).

Abstract

The concept of performing radiation dosimetric measurements on a cellular level using tissue-equivalent scintillation techniques is presented. Results of laboratory investigations defining the advantages and limitations of the technique are discussed, and the development of two flight instruments is presented. The report represents the culmination of the first phase of the development of a Cellular Absorbed Dose Spectrometer (CADS). (Author)
