A Method of Estimating Power Spectra.

Abstract

A computer program has been developed for the EAI 693 hybrid simulation system which can sample an electrical signal, convert the sampled values to digital format, build a table of up to 10,000 digital values, calculate and estimate of the power spectrum of the sampled values, and display the estimate of the power spectrum as graphical output. The sampled signal may originate at any external source such as test hardware. The report explains the analytical methods used to estimate the power spectrum and presents practical information required to use the program effectively. (Author)
