Abstract

This is an annual report of work done under the contract. Progress is reported in the following areas: Integer and linear programming; Non linear programming with special results on quadratic programming; Iterative procedures for finding roots of functions; Bounds for eigenvalues and complex matrices; and Relations between properties of the graph and the eigenvalues of its adjacency matrix.
