Avalanche Current Fluctuations in Uniform Diodes.

Abstract

The major objective of this contract is to study active microwave bulk and transit time phenomena in solid-state materials. The purpose of these studies is to provide a better understanding of the phenomena and their application in the effective generation and amplification of high-frequency, high-power microwave signals. This report specifically represents a final report on progress made in studies of Avalanche Current Fluctuations in Uniform Silicon P-N Junctions diodes using laser probe techniques. (Author)
