Abstract
The article presents a method of quantitative analysis of fatigue strength. Basic parameters of fatigue strength and typical loads acting on an aircraft under operating conditions are also given. A method of plotting the curves of the fatigue-life constant, based on the results of studies, is discussed and criteria of scattering of an aircraft's fatigue-strength characteristics are described. A method of analyzing the relationship between fatigue strength characteristics, static strength and service life is presented. Methods of calculating and testing the fatigue strength and methods of inspecting aircraft structure during operation are discussed. (Author)
