An Application of Computer Simulation to Cargo Handling on Ships. A Practical Example.

Abstract

The work presents a practical example of computer simulation to the cargo handling problem on a general cargo ship. A 'Mariner' type ship was selected to assure introduction of realistic physical and operational constraints, and to permit simulation results to be compared with actual available operational results.
