Abstract
The initial production test of compact vertical 9000 Btu per hour air conditioners, Class 1, Class 2, Class 3, and Class 4, was conducted at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland to determine the ability of the test items to withstand environmental, transportation, durability, capacity, and radio frequency interference tests. The units were designed primarily for use in van type enclosures for providing filtered, conditioned, or heated air.
