Use of Helicopters to Dissipate Fog.

Abstract

An evaluation was conducted of the fog dissipating capabilities of CH-47 and CH-54 helicopters. The evaluation was conducted in the Vung Tau area. Due to the limited number of days that fog or stratus clouds were present, only four dissipation trials were attempted during the evaluation period. (Author)
