Abstract

This follow-on study evaluates the application of a reactor thermoelectric power system for a Hardened Missile Silo Base. The objective of this study is to evaluate an extended 15-year-life powerplant capability, particularly in the areas of heat sink, improved electrical power distribution, and overall cost effectiveness. The report is submitted in 3 volumes. Volume I, Design Study Evaluation, is classified. The appendices, which are in Volume II are unclassified. (Author)
