Follow-on Hardened Missile Base Nuclear Power System Study Final Report. Volume III. Power System Summary Description.

Abstract

This follow-on study evaluates the application of a reactor thermoelectric power system for a Hardened Missile Silo Base. The objective of this study is to evaluate an extended 15-year life powerplant capability, particularly in the areas of heat sink, improved electrical power distribution, and overall cost effectiveness. The report is submitted in three volumes. Volume III is the Power System Summary Description. (Author)
