Abstract

The program of the Radio and Space Research Station is outlined and brief descriptions of some of the individual projects are presented. The program covers a broad field of propagation, scattering and attenuation phenomena at frequencies from a few megahertz to optical frequencies as related to atmospheric conditions from the earth's surface to altitudes of some thousands of kilometers.
