Abstract
The report is a comprehensive guide to the manufacture of beryllium wrought products by forging, extrusion, wire-drawing, rolling, or forming. The various specific processes available for each of these operations are described in detail and compared. The economics of each of the operations is discussed. An introductory section of the report discusses the commercial forms of beryllium and beryllium alloys that are available, and provides a brief description of the phenomenon of texturing in beryllium.
