Abstract

The century-old Hospital for Sick Children, and the Institute of Child Health have a history of dedication to the treatment and research in childhood diseases. During the past 15 years the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology has made rapid gains in developing and expanding its program of clinical electroencephalography, research and training. The structure and some of the work of the Joint Research Board of the Institute and Hospital, and the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology, are reviewed. (Author)
