LM1500 Engine Marinization Contract. Phase I. Corrosion Laboratory Materials Recommendations and Test Results.

Abstract

This report covers part of the Marinization Program assigned to LJED TSO Metallurgical Engineering under Phase I of the three-phase program. In this sub-program, Metallurgical Engineering undertook to run hot corrosion tests on turbine section alloys and coatings, and to recommend any material changes to the engine to meet the above requirements.
