Function Generators with Zener Diodes,

Abstract

Stable functional converters with Zener diodes are used mainly for single purpose analog computers for the modelling of simple functional correlations where no high accuracy requirements are present. Their advantage is an easy adaptation to modelling of functions with varying characteristic curvatures, and the possibility of operating them without a reference voltage. The results depend on the quality and stability of the Zener diodes; these should function correctly even with low voltages.
