Plots of Geomagnetic Field Geometry.

Abstract

Plots of geomagnetic field parameters Band L, conjugate altitude, conjugate latitude and longitude, dip angle, horizontal intensity, and declination at constant geodetic altitude are presented. The GFSC 12/66 set of 120 coefficients were used to calculate the geomagnetic field for January 1970. The latitude, longitude, and altitude ranges are -87 degrees to 87 degrees, 0 degrees to 360 degrees, and 0.km to 1000 km, respectively. (Author)
