Equipment for Controlling an Analog Computer by Punched Tape and Some of its Uses,

Abstract

The first part of this article describes equipment which was developed for controlling an analog computer by punched tape. The program prepared on the punched tape may be controlled by the states of the computer; they may mesh into the computer network during calculation and generate functions variable in time. The equipment can be used for controlling iteration calculations and it can also be used as an auxiliary memory. The second part of the article introduces some examples of uses which have been realized. (Author)
