Abstract

The report describes a portable landing system called a Simplified Tactical Approach and Terminal Equipment (STATE). In addition to a detailed description of the hardware delivered, the report describes theoretical studies, experiments, and laboratory and flight test results. Conclusions were reached and recommendations offered. (Author)
