Integrated Tunnel Diode Amplifiers for X-Band Applications.
Abstract
The technical approach utilizes an inverse sandwich integrated technique allowing the amplifier stabilizing circuitry to be applied to the tunnel diode substrate. This approach allows for a separate matching circuit substrate. During this reporting period, a stabilizing circuit with resistors and tunnel diode was completed, meeting the low-capacitance requirement. High-frequency measurements were made and the results indicate that the requirements for the stabilizing circuit were met. The design of the matching circuit is complete, including variable tuning elements. Final fabrication is in process. (Author)
